Sallaum Terminal

Facilities & Connectivity

Capacity and connectivity in the heart of European trade.

A substantial automotive terminal in Antwerp, designed to protect cargo, absorb volume and connect deepsea flows with European distribution.

A terminal footprint built for automotive logistics

The terminal combines outdoor operating space, substantial covered storage, vehicle-processing capability and staging areas for vessel, truck and rail flows. This mix allows customers to configure programs around cargo protection, processing, dwell and release rather than relying on a single storage format.

Protected vehicle capacity

Covered storage can play an important role in preserving vehicle condition, supporting processed units and reducing exposure during longer dwell. Allocation is planned against the customer program, vehicle status and available capacity.

With total capacity for up to 15,000 cars, the terminal can support regular flows, volume peaks and strategic buffer requirements.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges location

Antwerp provides access to a major European port, industrial and logistics ecosystem. The location supports international deepsea cargo, regional shortsea services and inland distribution to key markets across north-western and central Europe.

Connected by multiple modes

Road

Planned truck receipt and dispatch for vehicle, rolling and project cargo movements.

Rail

A modal option for suitable volumes and routes, coordinated with terminal handling and release.

Shortsea

Regional maritime connections that can extend the reach of deepsea services and reduce road dependency.

Deepsea

A European gateway for international RoRo services and global automotive trade lanes.

Plan the facility around the program

Terminal area, storage type, processing capacity and release lanes are assigned according to expected volume, arrival profile, dwell, cargo status and onward mode. For larger or recurring programs, the plan can include dedicated procedures, zones and reporting.

Breakbulk & Project Cargo

Flexible RoRo handling for cargo beyond the car. Move trucks, machinery, high-and-heavy units and project cargo through Antwerp with a handling plan built around the cargo, vessel and onward route.
